In 1982, owner Gregory Dalton founded Dalton & Son Painting right here in the heart of Central Florida. Greg’s business approach was simple: the job is done when you’re happy—a core principle that still holds true today. That philosophy, backed by old-fashioned hard work and exceptional skill, quickly earned Greg a reputation for honest, high-quality work—allowing Dalton & Son Painting to thrive solely on word-of-mouth referrals from the very beginning. As word spread, more homeowners and small businesses came to trust Greg—not just for his experience and skill, but for his integrity, professionalism, and the respect he shows every property he works on.
Eventually, the volume of work made it possible for Greg to bring others on board. With careful intention, he began building a team—not of just any painters, but of craftsmen who take pride in their trade and share his commitment to customer satisfaction. What began as a one-man operation serving single-family homes continued to grow by meeting the needs of loyal clients. When a homeowner asked Greg if he could paint a barn, he did. When another needed dock staining or light carpentry to prep for paint, he did that too. Today, Dalton & Son Painting is powered by a skilled and dependable crew, carefully selected and trained to uphold the high standards that have defined the company since day one. From precision to professionalism, every project is handled with the same level of care Greg built his reputation on.
While Greg no longer works on the job site himself, he remains deeply involved in the business—and when you call, it’s still Greg who picks up the phone. From his home office in Altamonte Springs, he stays connected to every project, overseeing daily operations and working closely with his trusted field supervisors.
